Rapper Ja Rule is preparing an unnamed reality TV series before he begins his jail term

Following the same thing that rappers T.I. & Lil Kim did before going to jail, Ja Rule is working on his own reality show before serving his time. Ja, who is currently in Miami putting the finishing touches on his album Renaissance Project, will be sentenced in March for attempted possession of a weapon. Police found a loaded gun in his car in July of 2007.

” I like [my reality show] because it’s showing a strong black family going through a tough time,” Ja Rule said. “And how we band together as a family and how my wife and kids, my moms and her moms, bond together during this tough time when I have to go in.”
